Thrive at St Andrews Hospital, Birmingham

Funded by Lankelly Chase, Thrive was a 16 week creative programme of arts-based engagement activities across low, medium and high secure wards and working with a group of the same 12 patients.  The programme explored interpersonal skills and communication and the notion of the ward as ‘community’.

Funding for Thrive at St Andrews lasted for three years and enabled Geese to work with patients and staff at the hospital, researching and evaluating our approach and informing development of our first full interactive performance for patients in mental health settings.
