Caught in the Net

Working with families where there is an allegation of viewing child sexual abuse material

All work

One of our Performance with Keynote Speaker events designed for social work practitioners and students, Caught in the Net is a day-long training event and collaboration between Geese and Michael Sheath.

A combination of keynote presentations and vivid theatre performances designed to bring theory to life, Caught in the Net will provide delegates with an insight into:

– motivations of men who view CSAM

– rates of ‘crossover’ of CSAM viewers: how dangerous are they to children in the family and community?

– the experiences of women whose partners are arrested for possession of CSAM and how they can be supported

– preventing suicide in the population of men bailed for possession of CSAM

Michael Sheath has spent 37 years working in sexual abuse prevention, 25 of those working with The Lucy Faithfull Foundation. He is currently involved in the training of police officers to investigate online offending.
