Cheswold Park Hospital

We were commissioned to create a performance for a mixed audience of staff and patients who live and work in this medium secure forensic hospital in Doncaster. Our performance was to form part of a conference which included inspirational guest speaker, lecturer in criminology and ex-offender David Honeywell. Our performance followed the stories of two patients and included:

  • An exploration of aggressive behaviour and the impact on self and other people
  • A reflection on the journey into hospital for the two characters
  • Opportunities for staff and patients to consider how working collaboratively can assist in a recovery journey

At all times, our audience were placed in role as ‘experts’ – offering advice and guidance to our two characters as the performance progressed.
