Birmingham 2022 Festival presents two performances from Staging Recovery, an ensemble of people from the West Midlands exploring their individual and collective recovery journeys through theatre and drama. They have brought their lived experience and their connections to support agencies across the city, to gather ideas, stories and insights. Home Ground will explore the theme of ‘home’ and is based on stories gathered from people living in different communities in Birmingham.
On 3rd August, keep an eye out for the Geese flag as the ensemble will be performing scenes from Home Ground in various locations throughout Birmingham city centre.
On 4th August, you will have the opportunity to see the full performance at Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery, in the Participation Space of the Industrial Gallery.
