Earlier this year, we talked about our filmmaking projects with Emotion Coaching UK. Recently, Geese has been working on a the third set of films for the organisation. The series of films show Senior Practitioner, Liz, taking on the role of a professional interacting with young people of various ages and in various contexts to demonstrate different styles of engagement.
For this film, Liz portrayed a playground supervisor speaking to two 8 year old children. Typically, Geese practitioners play the roles of children in our performances, but this film saw child actors take on the roles themselves!
“We’ve never worked with children this young before and we had no idea how it would go but Holly and Killian were great…I was so impressed by their understanding of the scenarios and how the characters would feel. They took direction brilliantly and were really patient as filming involves a lot of repetition. They were also great fun!”
