Last week, Andy and Emma travelled to Belfast to make a training film with Marcella and Gareth from Leonard Consultancy. This is the third such film Geese has made with the organisation, with this particular example focussing on a case of domestic abuse.
This will become part of a library of films that Leonard Consultancy will use when training people to use The CASP-R (The Capacity and Ability to Supervise and Protect – Risk Framework) tool. The CASP-R is a “structured and dynamic professional judgement tool designed to assist practitioners from a range of disciplines (social workers, psychologists, family centre workers) in providing an informed and defensible opinion on a proposed carer’s capacity and ability to supervise individuals about whom concerns have been raised in relation to sexual and domestic violence.”
The relationship between Geese and Marcella was originally formed 20 years ago, and so we are delighted to be able to continue working together and assist the organisation with these films.
