Pride not Prejudice

Pride not Prejudice is an interactive theatre performance created by Geese Theatre Company in close consultation with members of the traveller community. The performance is designed to raise debate and discussion amongst audience members about traveller’s experiences in relation to a whole range of professional agencies, including education, health and the police.

Pride not Prejudice follows the story of one traveller family. Throughout the piece the audience are encouraged to interact directly with the characters onstage and periodically the action is stopped and the audience are invited to consider questions which relate to the scenario or situation presented.

Pride not Prejudice is ideally designed for mixed audience consisting of multi-agency professionals and members of the traveller community.
